I’ve been going to gallery openings, artist talks, curatorial tours, and other events consistently for about a year now and I thought it would be helpful to have a weekly list of Toronto openings and events for those interested. I typically stay up-to-date through individual email newsletters, Instagram pages, by word of mouth, or by working/volunteering at art fairs and festivals. Links to everything below!

Tuesday, September 17th

• Type Books (Queen St.), Book Launch: HOMING by Alice Irene Whittaker. 7 PM.

Wednesday, September 18th

• AGO: Sonia Boyce in conversation. 7 PM.

• Type Books (Junction), Book Launch: Veena and the Red Roti by Namita Moolsni Mehra. Illustrator Beena Mistry will be in attendance for a book talk and book signing. 6:30 PM.

Thursday, September 19th

• Gallery Weekend Opening Party, hosted by Patel Brown Gallery. 6 PM to 9 PM.

• Art Metropole, Reactivating the Archive 1: Luis Jacob on Colin Campbell’s Invention. 6-8 PM.

• UPSTAIRS Opening: People Person. Group Show, organized by Craig Spence, works by Nadia Belerique, Yan Wen Chang, Connor Crawford, Alexa Hawksworth, Stephanie Ligeti, Elly Reitman, Dan Vogt and Jacob Zhang. 6 - 10 PM.

Friday, September 20th
